How you can help and support us
Cats Paws Sanctuary is a charity which means we are reliant on the good will of people to help us keep going. There are many ways you can help us to stay operational, continue to look after homeless and neglected cats, and enable us to rehome them in kind and loving homes.
Whether it’s small donations, a gift from Amazon, or support with your time, everything is greatly appreciated.
Make a donation...
We appreciate all donations, little and large, because every penny helps. £2 buys a cat food for a week. £10 buys four cats flea and worm treatment for a month. £20 buys cat litter for ALL our cats for a week.
If you would like to make a donation, you can do so in a number of ways. You can send us a cheque made payable to ‘Cats Paws Sanctuary’ to the address on our Contact page, or if you prefer to do a bank transfer, please contact us for our sort code and account number.

Our Amazon Wishlist...
Each month we create a new Amazon Wishlist with an updated list of what items we are running low on at the Sanctuary. This means you can donate to us by buying items that we really need and get them delivered straight to our Sanctuary rather than you giving cash or having to drop them off to us.
We are extremely grateful for any donations received as anything bought from our wish list goes directly to the cats and kittens at our Sanctuary.
If you do not have an Amazon account you can still help by visiting Pets at Home website and adding our delivery address to your order. One thing we are always in need of is cat litter. Pets at Home sell a 30L bag of Agriselect wood pellets recycled wood cat litter for £6.49.
Volunteering...
We usually have plenty of volunteers here at the Sanctuary but if you are interested in helping us out, please email us with your CV to meow@catspawssanctuary.co.uk and tell us why you’d like to volunteer.
If you would like to help out and volunteer at one of our charity shops, please contact the shops direct.
Please note: Due to insurance purposes, we can only take on volunteers aged eighteen and over.
Sponsorship...
Many people help us out with authorised sponsored events such as sponsored walks, fun runs, climbing, etc. If you would like to get involved and fundraise with a sponsored event, please get in touch by phone or email and ask us for an official Cats Paws sponsorship form. Please contact us first, before you do your sponsored event.
Once you have completed your sponsored fund raiser, please contact us and we will arrange for you to come to the Sanctuary, meet the team, and have a photo opportunity!

Fundraising...
From time to time we hold fundraising events at the Sanctuary. Unfortunately, we cannot rent out space or stalls at our events. Fundraising events are held by our staff and volunteers and publicised through our newsletter (why not become a member?!)
If you would like to contribute to any of our events we would be grateful to accept donations of good quality, or new, items that can be used as prizes. In addition, any items such as books, bedding, kitchen wear, clothing, jewellery, toys and games and any unwanted gifts, are ideal for resale in our charity shops (Please note: we cannot accept electrical items, bike helmets, car seats or prams for safety reasons).
